These are found in holes or crevices of the reefs in the waters of Mexico and the Gulf of California.

Special Requirements:
As they move across the substrate, structures and rocks, they consume any algae which provides nutrition. They need room to roam, high levels of calcium and sufficient algae to comsume.

Comments:
These are turbin shaped, hervivorous and long lived. They are also called "Turbin Snails". They are also very useful by grazing algae on the glass. They can grow up to 2".
